this is just my own experience. an example could be the color blue. the taste depends on certain things like deep blue taste different than sky blue. like lighter blues are a kind of bitter sweet taste while darker blues taste more sweet. with sounds its harder to pin point what they look like bc sounds change all the time and i only get flashes of what they look like. and words have shapes or colors or textures, the word opposite is bright green and feels like sandpaper. i dont like /actually/ see them or feel them but i get an image or a feeling in my skin that replicates the actual thing. i hope this explains well enough ive never been asked to write down this stuff, if it didnt i can perhaps try to explain more in depth!
